Mountain Thunder Lodge is a luxury retreat, peacefully nestled among pines and aspens yet just two blocks from Main Street and ¼ mile from the BreckConnect Gondola. If you don’t feel like the walk, the courtesy shuttle will take you to or from anywhere in Breckenridge! As well as the heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, and fitness facilities of Mountain Thunder, you can enjoy all the amenities at One Ski Hill Place: indoor swimming pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, the only bowling alley in Breckenridge, and two private movie lounges!

This gorgeous first floor, two-bedroom townhome has vaulted double-height ceilings in the living area, giving the spacious feel of a chalet. Tranquil forest views conceal the Gondola Skiback run, just beyond the trees. After skiing home, unwind with a drink out back on the patio or inside by the beautiful moss rock fireplace, before visiting the outdoor heated pool or one of five hot tubs.

Historic Main Street offers shops, restaurants, galleries, and museums. Enjoy stunning views of the Ten Mile range from Blue River Plaza, events at the Riverwalk Center, and hiking & biking trails.

This home has a king master suite with a TV and ensuite bath. A second bedroom features a king bed that can be converted into 2 twins with a TV and an adjacent bathroom. There are additional accommodations for two with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room.

SPECIAL AMENITIES:
Luxury Indoor Aquatics Center @ One Ski Hill - This is our luxury sister property right at the base of Peak 8, and you can either ski right down to it at the end of the day or have the shuttle take you to the front door and get a key at the front desk. There is an indoor pool, kids zero-entry pool, large hot tub, and steam and dry saunas, and fully equipped men's and women's locker rooms (soap/shampoo/conditioner all in the showers). There are large comfortable chairs and chaise lounges to relax in. There is a bar/restaurant in the lodge on level 1 if you want to grab a beer or glass of wine (in a plastic cup) to take into the aquatics center. Bowling Alley and Media Rooms: You can book these at One Ski Hill the same day by just calling in the morning for availability. An excellent option for a night when you want to stay in and order pizza, which they can deliver to you there.
 
GETTING AROUND:
There is a free private shuttle operated by Mountain Thunder Lodge and available from your door. Also, Mountain Thunder Lodge is located across the street from both the central shuttle stop exchange and the Breck Connect Gondola; these are accessible for pedestrians via an underground passage.
 

THE SKYRUN ADVANTAGE: All SkyRun Breckenridge properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances.

PARKING:
Parking in Breckenridge is strictly enforced. To avoid towing or a ticket adhere to posted signs and parking allocations at all times. If you need additional parking for more cars, paid overnight parking is provided by the Town of Breckenridge in two areas of town, 1) south of town at the Stephen West Ice Arena and 2) north of town (also accepts RVs and trailers) at the Airport Road satellite parking lot.

WARNING:  4WD or AWD vehicles required in the winter, snow and ice will be on all surfaces including driveways and roads - no refunds for towing or cars that get stuck.  Some homes require 4WD or AWD in the non-winter months due to dirt roads, and uneven surfaces - call for more information about your rental.

COLORADO TRACTION LAW: Starting Sept. and running through May 31 of each year, all drivers on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero will be required to adhere to the traction law, which requires vehicles to have either four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with snow or mud+snow-rated tires, or specialized winter tires, chains or other traction devices for cars with two-wheel drive. Ensure you have the correct equipment when driving in Colorado. Talk with your rental car company if you are planning to rent.
