Welcome to The Powder Chalet, a charming 3 bedroom 2 bathroom downtown home that is walkable to Main Street and downtown!  The home is a short walk from all the best restaurants, bars and shops in Breckenridge, as well as the Breckenridge Market for any groceries or necessities.  It is just blocks from Carter Park and top rated biking and hiking access trails for all of the summer and winter activities Breckenridge has to offer. This home is also steps away from a free shuttle bus that will take you to different spots around town as well as the Gondola. 


On the upper level of the home, there is a modern well-stocked kitchen with everything you need to prepare meals at home and entertain with friends and family. The dining room has seating for 4 with 4 more at the kitchen bar. The living room is cozy and has a large flat screen TV. Off the side of the living, guests can enjoy an outdoor deck with mountain views. 

Located on the lower level, there is a king master with a flat screen TV and ensuite full bath. The second bedroom has a full bed. The third bedroom with a twin-over-queen bunk bed with twin trundle. There is also a full bathroom located in the lower level's hallway. Guests have access to the private washer/dryer in the home.

GETTING AROUND:
The property is located in downtown Breckenridge. Only a 11 minute walk to the Breck Connect Gondola or about a  7 minute walk to Main St. The property is just a 3 minute walk to the Free Ride bus route located at the corner of Washington Ave and French St. This is the Purple Route and will take you to most places in town including the Breck Connect Gondola, Rec Center, or Main St. Guests can also walk to the Quicksilver chairlift, which is a 15 minute walk.

THE SKYRUN ADVANTAGE: All SkyRun Breckenridge properties come stocked with a basic starter package of paper towels, toilet paper, facial tissue, hand/body soap, conditioning shampoo, dish soap, sponge and dishwasher detergent (this is a 3-4 night supply, guests may purchase additional products locally). Each home is equipped with high-end bed linens and towels. Kitchens are stocked with a coffee maker, cookware, bakeware, dishes, glasses, utensils and small appliances.

PARKING:
Parking in Breckenridge is strictly enforced. To avoid towing or a ticket adhere to posted signs and parking allocations at all times. If you need additional parking for more cars, paid overnight parking is provided by the Town of Breckenridge in two areas of town, 1) south of town at the Stephen West Ice Arena and 2) north of town (also accepts RVs and trailers) at the Airport Road satellite parking lot.

WARNING:  4WD or AWD vehicles required in the winter, snow and ice will be on all surfaces including driveways and roads - no refunds for towing or cars that get stuck.  Some homes require 4WD or AWD in the non-winter months due to dirt roads, and uneven surfaces - call for more information about your rental.

COLORADO TRACTION LAW: Starting Sept. and running through May 31 of each year, all drivers on I-70 between Morrison and Dotsero will be required to adhere to the traction law, which requires vehicles to have either four-wheel drive or all-wheel drive with snow or mud+snow-rated tires, or specialized winter tires, chains or other traction devices for cars with two-wheel drive. Ensure you have the correct equipment when driving in Colorado. Talk with your rental car company if you are planning to rent.
